Homemade Donuts

Are we the only ones that love to create new dishes from ingredients laying around the kitchen? Didn’t think so…

Well, with only four ingredients we have a new creation that is fairly simple to make.

*See video link at the end of this post titled ‘Homemade Donut Video’.

  • Canola oil
  • Biscuits
  • Chocolate syrup
  • Sprinkles

In a deep frying pan, pour oil until pan is approximately three inches deep with oil. Heat oil to 375 degrees F.

While oil is heating:

Mold the biscuits into donut rings. For donut holes, cut the center out of biscuit and roll into balls.

Once the oil has reached 375 degrees F, drop biscuits in oil. They will rise to the top of oil once cooked.

Flip the biscuits, letting them cook until golden brown.

After taking them out of the oil set the donuts on a paper towel which will drain excess oil.

Place donuts on a pan and drizzle chocolate syrup.

Scatter sprinkles and enjoy!
